I have a special place in my heart for those who simultaneously invent a new medium and become the undisputed master of it. This Chinese artist does his work on layers of glass – 16 layers each, most of them – so you end up with a unique three dimensional effect. What kills me is that he did it with such rich and mysterious subject matter. Love the images – whether they’re in 2D or 3D.
