Nothing I like better than a sloppy still-life. I mean that. I love it when you can just barely tell what the subject is. The sloppier the better. I mean, you don’t have to go all Pollocky to make me happy. But a little constructive deconstruction never hurt a good picture. Love this Canadian painter. And he’s not Pollocky at all.
