That’s what I call it when a Website has such intrusive ads that you are forced to Scroll down away from the header banner and Slide the browser window to right to hide the right-side ad – just so you can view the content on the page without having an epileptic fit.

How much do I hate these? Enough to stop going to particular Websites altogether. Some sites are tolerable only with the Scroll & Slide, but just barely.

And don’t get me started on pop-ups. The Back button is my best friend in these situations. I’m not even going to tolerate the sites by installing a pop-up blocker and continuing to frequent them. Sorry, it’s bye-bye to them and I won’t be returning.

So I guess this makes me a militant web surfer now. Gotta get me a Che beret and Cuban cigar.
