My turkeys are only a couple of weeks old. Sweet little things about 7 inches high. They look like chicks with elongated necks and Godzilla feet. Cute beyond cute. But now they’ve started to grow their freaky melty-face thing. I don’t know what it’s called. The blue and red flesh lava stuff. At this point, all there is is a wart in the middle of their foreheads, but it’s growing day by day. I’m already feeling bereft. Now I know what it feels like to be the Elephant Man’s dad.
