It’s chick hatching season and the little critters are nipping and cracking their way out of their shells left and right. This year, we thought we’d try silkies, the black-skinned, black-fleshed chickens that attract so much attention in exotic markets. The cute little gaffers emerge covered in Swedish blonde feathers, right down and onto their little black feet. I dunno, man, I may be having one for a house pet before this year is out.
