I have a great affinity for empty, alienating concrete urban spaces. I think I misspent my entire youth there, talking, smoking, playing music, enjoying the echoes and the irony of the fact that engineers and construction workers built these massive structures only for them to be vacant most of the time. I had no doubt they were artful. And starkly beautiful as they are, I now think of them as anthill tunnels after idiot habit and hubris has killed off the ants.
