Full stop. Don’t look at anything else till you go to this artist’s website. This is a photographer who has carved out a niche in the big ‘A’ Art World from some quirky corner of a gentle soul.
And the premise is so simple: Child poses as they would for one of those looong exposures of yester-century and she snaps a pic. Doubtless there’s some serious palette editing done in the studio later, but who cares? The innocence of these munchkins just shines through like blue veins in a Scottish girl’s cheek. Beautiful, beautiful stuff.
