I should never read the news. I have become a news junkie and it isn’t good for an optimistic person to be hammered with so many instances of human greed, violence and imbecility so consistently. Thank god for TV and good beer. Otherwise I’d have to go live in a cave somewhere and live off of bats and beetles.
