One of my favorite singers of all time. If you’ll forgive the pun, a truly unsung hero of Canadian music. (I don’t know what the politically correct pronoun is in refering to someone who has had a sex-change, so I’ll err on the side of caution and talk about him as he is now.) His voice is ridiculously rich and evocative. I tell ya, the list of famous people who cannot sing half as well as him is criminally long. Where is his Wikipedia entry, people? His Governer General’s Award? This track features the late great Lenny Breau on guitar.
